William "Marcus" Chesnut's Obituary
William “Marcus” Chesnut
Marcus left us far too soon on February 9, 2024 at the age of 49 after suffering ever increasing coronary health issues over the last several years. Marcus was a kind hearted, gentle soul and a tireless worker. As an employee of the Southwest City Schools he enjoyed his work as a database administrator for over 15 years. His family was the most important thing in the world to him. All of his time not at work, he spent getting the kids to their events, helping coach football, attending games and concerts, managing things at home and caring for his wife and children. He labored willingly to please his family and in the end he gave until there was no more to give.
Marcus was preceded in death by his father William E (Bill) Chesnut. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Angela, children Ashley, Hannah and William Michael, his mother Linda Chesnut, sister Noel Chesnut and her son Tony, mother in law Anna Meeks, father in law Mike Treneff (Beth), aunt Suzann Cunningham, and uncle Steve Cunningham and family. Also many dear friends and co-workers who will sorely miss him. Private memorial to be announced at a later date.
