We have many fond memories experiencing Ryan growing up from a young Annehurst Elementary school age boy into a very caring and responsible adult. Ryan was considered part of our family and we loved him very much. He had a way of lifting your spirits with his contagious laugh and positive outlook; even when he was experiencing serious medical issues. Ryan achieved the rank of Eagle Scout during his participation in Boy Scout Troop 39. Throughout history only 2 percent of eligible Scouts have earned Scouting’s highest honor. Grateful to have had the time with Ryan in our lives and proud to have been a part of his Boy Scout journey to Eagle.

I remember Ryan when he was working on his Eagle Scout project as a senior in high school and he fussed over the position of the shed that he built and how high it sat off the ground. He wanted it perfect, and frankly it was. I always had respect for his quiet integrity and hard work ethic. God speed Ryan.

Always enjoyed sitting around the campfire with Ryan. Also enjoyed having a cheeseburger with him. He loved a good cheeseburger! He was like a son to us.
