A fellow Centerburg Trojan, 6 years my senior, who always treated me like he treated everyone else. Like he was thrilled to see me. I still received a few calls each year to talk about high school sports and that marvelous voice still was laced with cheerfulness and optimism. He never stopped calling me "Johnny" going back to my playing days. He just had a zest for life for all of the 60 years I knew him. RIP Odie.
My deepest sympathy to Odell’s family on their loss. I knew Odell from his Centerburg days. I have many fond memories of our softball to officiating adventures. Odell was not only a good friend but an even better person!
