I met Jackie early in her professional 4H career when she worked with us at COSI to create the original Winter Fair.
Jackie and I both took tenor banjo lessons from musician Ray Pauken, and under the guidance of Greg Hankins of the Irish Brigade, the four of us formed a group called the "Old Folkies" that met regularly to play music just for fun. A descendent of that group still plays together today - and Jackie helped to start it.
My wife Mary and I cherish memories of many dinners with Jackie at the Mi Mexico restaurant, visiting her up on Kelly's Island, and sailing with her in her first sailboat. We also enjoyed observing many Bexley Independence Day parades with Jackie at her sister's. We remember her nieces and send our condolences.
She was truly a special lady.
