Irving Johnson's Obituary
Irving was born on May 13, 1936, in Columbus Ohio, to Walter and Lillie Johnson. Irving had three brothers, Pete, Calvin (both of whom preceded him in death) and Marvin.
Irving was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the early 1960s. He later met and married his beautiful wife, Dorothea, to whom he was married to for 61 years. From this union, they had 6 children; Cherie, Irveda, Jill, Rebekah, Irving Jr. and Micah.
He was known for his gentle, quiet yet adventurous personality. He loved music. He was great at whistling, singing, skating, biking, fishing, swimming and film making. He had a great sense of humor. Irving adored his children and would do just about anything they'd ask him to do. He would always look at the brighter side of things. As a child, he worked on TVs with his dad. He later made that his career. He retired from Columbus Board of Education as a technician.
