This one hit really hard for me! Greg was not just my employee, he was my friend. He pretended to be gruff from time to time, but he had a heart of gold. His students loved him and he loved them right back. I don't know how many times Greg would get upset over something and swear he was going to quit. He would say, "I'm resigning." I would say go home Greg and sleep on it. The next day he would show up grinning asking if he was fired!
I know that Greg is happy now, as he is with his wife Debbie. He loved her with all his heart and never fully lived again when she passed. Greg you will be missed but will be forever in my heart. Enjoy eternity my friend.

Mr. Greg oh what a gentleman, he always referred to his wife as, "My wife" his mom always, "My mother". Greg made sure "His wife had what she needed every morning before he came to work and durning break he would go and take care of his mother's needs. My story about Greg would be, he had two pair of exact white shoes. A pair at "His mother's" before he would leave her house he would put on that pair and leave his current shoes. She would clean them and they would be ready for him the next day! He bragged to me how white and clean his shoes were. That "His mother" took care of them for him. Greg always had that warm smile. We shared many mornings talking on Ole' Bus 21. His cabinet was full of goodies. He'd ask me, "Baby girl what do you want?" I know there is a warm place in many people's hearts that Greg has touched. This world would be a whole lot nicer with more Mr. Greg's. He will be very sadly missed but his memory will live on in our hearts.
Mr Greg and I became fast friends when I went back to work at Licking Heights transportation. I took my husband on a football trip with us one Friday and from then on he and Mr Greg were like besties! He had the best smile and gave the best hugs!! He will be missed so much!
Mr Greg used to give me money when I needed money on my lunch account at school and always was my go to person to talk to he’ll forever have an impact on my life
This photo was the last time I saw Greg. It was the day before. I was moving it back out to Arizona permanently two years ago. I was supposed to spend the night with him and then leave early in the morning to drive to Arizona. I was too amped up, so I drove anyway, but real quick funny story every time him and I used to go out to eat over the many years he would always order the soup du jour and course it came out every time French onion soup so this so we went out with a group of friends at the famous Eros squadron restaurant. I think it was 1986 maybe 1987 is a group of people who was his brother his brother‘s wife me and my ex-wife and his wife Debi so we’re ordered appetizers. Greg ordered the soup Dijour when it came out it was broccoli, cream, and rice soup and he looked up serving. This isn’t the soup Dijour and everybody around the table just spit your drinks out and just couldn’t stop laughing and I told the story 1000 times and Greg told her just as many times I’m gonna miss him.
