Chris and Deb were our nextdoor neighbors and boy did we get lucky. They cared for our dog Toby like they cared for their dogs. My husband and I would let Toby out in the shared back yard area, and occasionally he would wander off and I’d be outside screaming to find him. Chris was always the first to come out and help look for him. I was so thankful to have neighbors that cared. Chris seemed to care for almost everyone- always offering a warm smile and a “hello, How are things going” when we’d see each other outdoors. We knew he was fighting a battle with cancer but would regularly forget with how hardworking and positive he remained. It’s devastating to hear that cancer ultimately took him from his loved ones; F**K cancer. Rest Easy, Chris. Enjoy all the good whiskey heaven has to offer 🥃

Bob and I are so sorry to learn of Chris’s passing. We came to know him through our love of the whiskey world. We had the opportunity to spend time together sharing pours, stories and laughter. His friendship, positive attitude, kind spirit and ability to see the good in people served as a gentle reminder to all to be better, do better.
