Anna Marie (Sorgini) Vitullo's Obituary
It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Anna Marie (Sorgini) Vitullo on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the age of 74, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH, surrounded by her loving family.
Anna Marie was born on April 24, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio to Pete and Ermida Sorgini. She attended K-12 and graduated from St. Joseph Academy, then went onto The Ohio State University, then attended Ohio College of Limited Practice in Canton, OH where she received an advanced degree as a Doctor of Cosmetic Therapy. She practiced in Columbus for 34 years as an Electrologist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Ermida (Giuliani) Sorgini; her brothers Danny and Jimmy Sorgini; and her granddaughter Natalia Wise; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Anna Marie is survived by her beloved children, Dan, Andrew (Crystal), Bernadette (Ryan), and their father Vince Vitullo; her 9 adored grandchildren, Emerson, Dawson, Drew, Madison, Mia, Eli, Natalie, Rocco, and Dominic. She is also survived by her significant other James Damron.
Anna Marie was most known for her ability to brighten a room. She was always an open ear and a warm embrace. She loved her kids and grandkids more than anything, but also loved anyone who stepped into her presence. She loved sharing her knowledge and recipes. Her absence will be felt by those who loved her so fiercely, but also by those who only knew her for just a short period of time.
Most of her adult life, Anna Marie was known for her ability to throw a party where all felt loved and welcomed. The family will be hosting a celebration of life in her honor that will be held Tuesday, October 1st from 3-7 pm at The Villa Milano located at 1630 Schrock Rd. Columbus, OH 43229. Any and all who loved and cherished Anna Marie are welcome.
