I worked with Ken for a few years. What a wonderful, kind, and talented person! He was a fabulous stylist and friend in an environment that was less than welcoming. I will miss him dearly. Just found out. We used to exchange meals. He was so sweet.
Ken and I became friends through his scissors. He cut my hair for 35 years…made me look my best for two weddings. Always made look my best.
His smile was wry and luminous all at once.
He was a light.
I met Ken at Macys back in the 1980’s and I have followed him to 5 different salons over the past 35 years. Ken was family to me. He was at my father’s funeral to support me when he passed. That what family does. I always enjoyed my time with him catching up in each others lives. I can’t image not seeing him again. I will miss him terribly. My love and prayers to his family and friends. Ken was such a lovely person. I will alway treasure the time we spent together talking about everything and nothing! He was a kind soul and a wonderful friend.

I had the honor to have meet Ken through Greg Harman at the Glemby Salon in the Lazarus Building. I have followed Ken and Greg through many salons until Greg and Laura opened the LauraGregory in Grandview. Ken and I often talked about flowers. I was blessed to become a receptionist at the Salon and got to really know Ken. He will be truly missed by all his clients and all friends. He was the kindness man. May Ken rest in peace and find comfort now.
