William "Bill" W. Low's Obituary
William (Bill) W. Low of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away June 17, 2026, at the age of 88. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on December 24, 1937 to Willard W. Low and Grace E. Low (nee Spitzer). Dear father of Denise (David) Castner and Jennifer Low of Dublin, Ohio. Loving brother of Nancy (Bill) Nash of Stow, Ohio, and Darlene (John) Hoagland of Blue Ridge, Virginia, sister-in-law Hazel Haver-Reese of Middleburg Heights, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Christine (Penny) of 50 years, beloved sister Joanne Yuhasz, and sisters-in-law Suzie Lasko and Carol Petersen.
Bill loved watching sunsets, having picnics and grilling, eating ice cream, playing cards, talking about and riding in boats, gardening, having a dog (especially English Springer Spaniels), woodworking, visiting lighthouses, watching Ohio State football, and listening to and watching marching band music. Most of all, Bill enjoyed playing Santa for over 35 years and bringing joy to many people.
Some of our favorite memories with our Dad were attending Band-O-Rama and the Ohio River Sternwheel Festival in Marietta, Ohio.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to National Church Residences Foundation at https://www.nationalchurchresidences.org/foundation/ or the Cleveland Sight Center at https://www.clevelandsightcenter.org/donate-or-volunteer
