Vivian M. Hauger's Obituary
Vivian M. (Spencer) Hauger, age 91, left this world on February 14, 2022. She was a kind and gentle soul. All who met her would describe her as so sweet but stronger than steel. She lead her life without regrets. Her most important role in life was caring for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a fierce protector and she celebrated life everyday. A true matriarch in every sense of the word. She retired from Batelle Memorial Institute. It comforts us to know that she is now surrounded by her parents William and Marguerite Vaughn, husband John, brothers Joseph, Thomas and Rev. Robert Vaughn, sons Robert and Richard and daughter Christine Spencer. She is survived by her daughter Cindi (Ben) King, son Steve (Suzy) Spencer, grandchildren Benny, Scott and Brad (Jodi) King, daughter-in-law Marla (Guy) Forthofer, and many great grandchildren who adored her. May God continue to bless our Mother in heaven and bestow his grace upon us, her family, who will miss her every day. Donations may be made in her name to Creative Living, 150 W. 10th Ave., Columbus, OH 43201. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Brendans Catholic Church 10:00 am on Friday, March 4, 2022. Guest will be received at the home of Cindi (Ben) King following the mass.
