Velma M. Cordle's Obituary
Velma M. Cordle passed away, November 23, 2022 at Riverside Hospital surrounded by her family and friends. Velma was born October 09, 1960. She is survived by her parents, Walker and Ruth Cordle of West Jefferson. Her sister Grace Mitchell(Steve) of Galloway, brother Archie Cordle of South Charleston, sister Wanetta Caudill (Bob) of Plain City and sister Barbie (Shiloh) of Columbus Ohio. She is preceded in death by her beloved brother, Russell Cordle and precious nephew, Ryan Lennex. Velma loved her nieces and nephews so much. Ronnie, Tasha, Trisha , Caleb, Ross, Kyle, Tatiana Zachary, Stephanie, Cory, Taylor, Jonathan, Logan, Lily and Lucas. Velma also leaves behind her lifetime friends that meant the world to her. Liz Comer, Ann and Jay Sheldon, Megan and Tim Hirth, Charlie and Joy Comer, Steven and Logan. Bette Landis and her family, and Bert Comer. Velma was a friend to all that knew her. You could not help but to love her and to be loved by her, was truly a blessing. She was kind, giving, loving and compassionate. Velma loved singing , making people laugh and making cookies for everyone. She treasured her time with family and friends. She attended Cypress Church and loved God with all of her heart. Velma will be missed by all that knew and loved her. There will be a Celebration of Velma’s life on December 3, 2022. It will be held at the Student Building (building closest to the railroad tracks) on the Cypress Church campus at 12:00 pm. Cypress Church.377 Alton Darby Road, Galloway Ohio 43119.
