Tracy Goldberg's Obituary
Tracy Goldberg, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, 59, passed away on September 6, 2023.
She was born on April 23, 1964, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harris and Joyce Goldberg. She graduated from Pickerington High School and Eastland Joint Vocational Center. Tracy also attended The Ohio State University.
Tracy was a supervisor at National Health Laboratories prior to sustaining an injury in 1991 that cut her career short. Coworkers and friends admired her commitment to her career and her
phlebotomy skills.
She was a kind-hearted soul who deeply loved her family. She was devoted to her pets as well and committed to giving them the best in life. Among those who helped with their care were neighbors, Carol and Ginny, who cared for them as if they were their own.
Despite the challenges that came from her injury, Tracy prioritized health and home
responsibilities. She took great pride in maintaining a lovely home and taking care of herself.
Her generosity knew no bounds and she was always willing to give whatever she could to those in need.
In her free time, Tracy found joy in spending time with family, loving her pets, playing games on her phone, adept in using many forms of electronic technology that enhanced her wellbeing and watching the television series, “The Walking Dead”. She especially admired the character, “Rick” because of his leadership and his ability to be a survivor.
When her health allowed, she attended Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church (now Reynoldsburg Community Church) for worship.
She is survived by her brother, Scott Goldberg, sister, Terrie Goldberg, niece Nicole (Shawn) Strong, and great nephew, Brayden, and great niece, Kirra, both of whom she adored dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece: Madison Eubanks.
A private family service to honor Tracy's life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a pet organization, reflecting her deep devotion to animals, would be a fitting memory for Tracy.
