Timothy William Cuff's Obituary
Timothy (Tim) William Cuff, age 61 passed away on Feb 4, 2022 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus Ohio. He was born Nov 16, 1960 in Rockville Centre, New York. Tim spent his early life on Long Island, NY before moving to Flint, MI to attend GMI Engineering & Management Institute (now Kettering University) where he graduated in 1983 with a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering. Tim then moved to Buffalo, New York where he worked at the GM Tonawanda Forge. In 1987 he moved to Columbus, Ohio to begin work at Battelle Memorial Institute. He stayed at Battelle until 2009 when he moved to Weldon, a division of Akron Brass where he remained until his passing. Tim is survived by his son (Brian Grzybowski-Cuff) his brother (John Cuff) and his sister (Maryanne McAuley).Tim was a wildlife enthusiast and avid photographer. He would take trips around the country, frequently with his son, to national parks and had a goal of visiting every national park. While in Columbus, Tim would visit local parks and wild life preserves to watch and photograph birds. All of his many pictures can be found on his Flickr . When he could not go outside, Tim was fond of woodworking. Much of the furniture in his house was made by him. More recently he had taken to turning wood to make bowls and vases. Tim was a loving father and will be dearly missed. A public visitation will be held at Spring Hollow Lodge, at Sharon Woods Metro Park in Westerville Ohio on Sunday February 20, 2022 from 1-4pm. A private funeral will be held at a later date. In place of flowers, please consider donating to the national park service, specifically Yellowstone National Park
