Thomas Eugene Tucker's Obituary
Thomas Eugene Tucker, age 83, of Galloway, Ohio, passed away on September 5, 2024.
Tom was born to Charles and Pauline Tucker on January 30, 1941 in New Lexington, Ohio. When Tom was younger, he loved playing football including playing for the Varsity team while attending New Lexington High School. After graduating in 1958 he moved to Columbus, Ohio and attended Ohio State University and was enrolled in the ROTC program. As part of the ROTC program he was awarded his pilot’s license.
Tom was predeceased by father, Charles Tucker, mother, Pauline Tucker and sister in law Paula Tucker. Tom is survived by his ex wife Betty McGaughey Tucker, Daughters Teri Tucker and Traci Robare/Sean; Grandchildren Nate Johnson (Teri); Kaleigh Sullivan/Kevin (Traci) and Landen Robare (Traci); Great grandchildren Callahan and Sloane Sullivan. Brothers Edward Tucker and Ronald Tucker; Nephews Todd Tucker and Ty Tucker (Edward).
Tom was a Freemason of the Masonic Temple. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to golf, fish, and had a passion for hunting mushrooms. He loved talking history, reading, and sharing stories about his childhood and reminiscing about the friendships he had built over the years. He also had a love for music and enjoyed listening to all different genres. One of his favorite places to visit was Canada where he enjoyed many fishing trips there throughout the years.
No services will be held at this time and the family requests no donations or flowers be sent.
His memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
