Thomas Rocky Holman's Obituary
Thomas Rocky Holman, 64, of Newark, Ohio, passed away on May 30th, 2026 in Zanesville, Ohio.
Tom’s free spirited nature and adventurous spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His affinity for simple living and love for nature and animals were the foundation of his life. He lived by his own rules and forged his own original path. He was a singularly authentic individual.
He is survived by his parents, Carl R. Holman and Brenda J. Holman, sister & sister in-law Debra Holman and Sarah Holman, the children of his late brother Maurice R. Holman (1967-2022), as well as many cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Maurice R. Holman (Bob), and longtime partner Jeffrey M. Smith. He was dearly loved by many lifelong friends and co-workers.
No public services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Licking County Humane Society.
