Terry (Howdy) Lee Houle's Obituary
Terry (Howdy) Lee Houle, 70 of Mt. Vernon passed away Saturday, October 29th 2022 at OSU James Medical Center. He was born September 15th 1954 to James (Jim) and Betty Houle.
He was preceded in death by his father James (Jim) brother Jimmy, most recent his beloved mother Betty.
He is survived by his daughter Gennie, granddaughters; Brook and Sierra, and a great granddaughter Colette. Four sisters Margo, Cathy, Bonnie and Barbara. Along with several nieces’ and nephews.
Terry was a true outdoorsman. A man whom appreciated hard work and the simple things in life.
He deeply appreciated natures beauty. He loved the mountains, caverns/caves, rivers, lakes, and streams.
In his free time, you could find him exploring, camping, rebuilding vehicles, building his home, and finding creative solutions to life’s challenges.
Terry loved his family and friends fiercely and befriended anyone who was lucky enough to cross his path and gave more grace than most deserved.
Terry had a gypsy soul and a hippie heart. You could always count on him to wonder, explore, and eat absurd amounts of chips and dip, he also had the heartiest chuckle in the room.
Terry was deeply loved and will be immensely missed.
