Tanya Clara Acoff's Obituary
Tanya Clara Acoff, age 52, passed away on October 18th 2021. She was born August 16, 1969 in Saginaw, MI. She was preceded in departure by her mother Rowena Acoff, and sisters Demetric A. Acoff and Alfreda D. Acoff. Tanya attended Saginaw High School in Saginaw, MI where she graduated class of ‘87. She wrote in her memory book that senior year was by far the best year of her life! Tanya spent many years in customer service and managerial roles. She contributed to the success of companies such as Best Buy, Linens & Things and Lowes. When Tanya was not hard at work, she enjoyed going to the movies, buying toys for her nieces and nephews, listening to music, cooking, and shopping. Tanya leaves to cherish her memory, her father, Levi Acoff Sr.; Siblings, Levi Acoff Jr. of Michigan, Linda J. Acoff of Ohio, Rowena Acoff II of Michigan, Alethea Acoff, and Annetta I. Acoff, both of Ohio; Her best friend, Vanessa (Wayland) Lewis; Nieces and Nephews, Maurice (Linda) Acoff, Vernice Baiden, Lamont (Kimberly) Acoff, Calvin D. Johnson, Deonte’ J. Johnson, Ti’ara A. Acoff, and Dee Robinson; great-nieces and nephews, Camrin Napper, Marcellus Acoff, Makayla Acoff, Kyah J. Acoff, Laila S. Acoff, De’Andre L Minniefield III, Kimani Acoff, Kassidi Acoff, Joshua Acoff, Kamylah Acoff, and a host of spiritual brothers, sisters and friends! Tanya was baptized on June 14th, 1986 alongside her sisters Alethea & Alfreda as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was so excited to have dedicated for life to Jehovah! Throughout the years Tanya spent time doing auxiliary pioneer work, Preaching her faith to her colleagues and associates. She thoroughly enjoyed attending the assembly and conventions. She was always so excited to see thousands of Jehovahs Witnesses in attendance together and get to meet new friends. Tanya will truly be missed for her bold, fun, loving personality and hilarious since of humor. The Acoff family finds hope in John 5:28; “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out...” We look forward to reuniting with her in a beautiful paradise world.
