Susan Diane Starr-Phelps April 27, 1956 - February 7, 2026
Susan D Starr-Phelps age 69 entered her heavenly home on Saturday, February 7th 2026.
“Just like the phoenix she emerged from the ashes of despair, spread her wings and soared.”
Susan will be remembered for her tenacious personality and passionate unwavering stance on what she believed. She was a good listener and researcher on a quest for answers for herself and others.
Susan had many interests. She loved gardening, cooking, sewing, crocheting and painting ceramics, furniture, lawn art ect. Her home reflected her creativity. She often gifted her hand crafted items. It was a rare occasion to leave her home empty handed. She always sent you on your way with something she wanted you to have or to try, even if it was just a bit of good advice.
Susan is survived by her three daughters Shannon Starr (Eric Yuzwa), Nina Starr Clark (Tim), Angie Phelps; grandchildren, Piper, Melina, Harley, Dylan and Bella; siblings, Brian Starr, Sandy McKenzie (Wilbur). Preceded in death by her mother Bernadette F. Starr, father Robert L. Starr and brother Joseph Starr.
