Susan Dana Krasner's Obituary
Susan Krasner, 80, of Columbus, Ohio died Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Taylor Springs Health Campus. She was born October 15, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Manuel and Ann Pepper. She is survived by husband Richard Krasner, married in December of 1960. As well as 2 sons, 2 daughters: Son Eric Krasner and wife Roxana of Puyallup, WA. Grandson Andrew Krasner and his wife Brittany, also of Puyallup, WA;, great grandchildren Brylee, Levi, and Ezra.
Son Glen Krasner and wife Gina of Baltimore, OH Daughter Jeannie Krasner Boots and husband Timothy of Waymart, PA. Grandsons Bradley Boots of Waymart, PA, Ethan Boots of Scranton, PA, and Daniel Boots of Lehigh Acres, FL. Daughter Stacy Krasner Dardinger and husband Timothy of Columbus, OH. Survived as well by Brother David Pepper and wife Helen of Vancouver, WA. Brother Martin Pepper and wife Rebecca of Israel. Cousin Mel Pepper and wife Lisa of Punta Gorda, Fl. Along with numerous nieces and nephews. Susan graduated James Madison high school in Brooklyn, New York. She married Richard and started their family and life together. She resided in Brooklyn until moving to Clark’s Summit, PA in 1982, then on to Columbus, OH in 1994. She had worked as a Bookkeeper for many years until retiring. She loved to read, beaded needlepoint, going out to restaurants, attending movies with Richard, and was a formidable and fierce Scrabble player (to the chagrin of all who sat across the board from her). Susan loved her family with all her heart and always looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren as often as possible. Susan will be missed immensely by her children, grandchildren, siblings, and husband & best friend of 62 years. Her departing has left a hole in everyone’s hearts that can never be filled. There will be a private memorial held for family and friends at a future date. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to Alzheimer’s Association.
