Steve Carrizales' Obituary
Steve Carrizales, 63, passed away April 22, 2026.
Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, Steve was, above all else, a devoted family man whose greatest joy came from the people he loved. Whether it was time spent at home, sharing stories, or simply being present for everyday moments, he made his family feel supported, valued, and deeply cared for.
He also had a lifelong passion for photography. Rarely without a camera in hand, he had a gift for capturing life as it happened—the quiet smiles, the big milestones, and everything in between. Through his lens, he preserved memories that his family will cherish for generations.
Those who knew him will remember that he wasn’t a man of many words, but he had a way of bringing people together, making others feel at ease, and reminding them of what truly matters.
Steve is survived by his wife, Kimberly, and children: Jonathan (Mia), Jennifer (Jeremy), Jessica (Chris), Lauren (Chad), Austin, Alexandra, and numerous grandchildren; as well as his sister, Anna (Gregg).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie G. Carrizales Sr. and Herminia H. Carrizales; his sister, Mary Ester Carrizales; and his brothers, Johnnie G. Carrizales, Jr. and Benito “Bennie” Carrizales.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 13, 2026, at Willow Brook at Delaware Run, from 1:00–4:00 p.m.
His legacy lives on in the memories he captured, the love he gave, and the family he held so close.
