I had the pleasure of being Russell’s service coordinator with Franklin county board of developmental disabilities for 11 years. Russell would always greet me with the biggest smile and a hug! He really had the best smile ever. He was kind, gentle, and loyal. If there was only thing he knew it was that he was loved!!! He lived with his adoring sister, and they enjoyed so many things together. Going out to eat, online shopping, and the love and care Of the dogs they adopted over the years. I’m also so happy to say that Russell had the same provider agency with consistent staff, some of which he had care for him for 12+ years. Russell always knew he was adored. During our time together he brightened rooms with his smile at different day programs. All r friends was a day program he went to as long as he could and they cared for him and treated him like family. I know he loved it there. I’m going to miss Russell and working with his family so much. I’m so happy for the years I got to know him! He was one of my first cases at service coordination, and he taught me so much too. I know he’s running around the streets of heaven now with that great smile. Russell you will be missed. And Much love to Ruth. ❤️❤️❤️
