Robert Eugene Cline, Jr.'s Obituary
Robert Eugene “Bobby” Cline, Jr., 64, of Dublin, Ohio passed away Friday, December 31st at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by his family. Bobby was born on January 6, 1957 in Marietta, Ohio to Robert E. Cline Sr. and Barbara (White) Cline.Bob loved spending time with his family, especially exploring the American wilderness with his children and tormenting his daughters with corny jokes. He made sure he worked hard every day in order to ensure that his time with family could be spent to the fullest. Summers were always filled with camping, hiking, and picnicking with his family. He had big plans to hike the Appalachian Trail once he retired. Bob spent his life working retail management. He most recently enjoyed working for Target on Sawmill and shared many fun stories with us as well as his accomplishments in the industry.Bobby leaves behind a broken-hearted family. He is survived by five children, his son Nathan (Kelly) Malone, four daughters, Shawna (Damien), Brittany (Bryan) Lenzo, Amanda, and Natalie; his grandchildren Maya, Allison, Fenix, and Faye; his parents Bob Sr. and Barb; his favorite sister Debbie Seyfang and brother Ronnie (Ceinwen) Cline; his nieces Catherine (Brandon) Marling, Emilie Seyfang, Elaina (Will) Miller, and nephew Mark Cline. Bobby is preceded in death by his brother-in-law Tim Seyfang of Athens, Ohio, maternal grandparents, Hercil and Alice White of Bartlett, Ohio, and paternal grandparents, Herbert C. and Erma Cline of Fleming, Ohio.In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you make donations in Bob’s honor to the National Park Foundation. There will be a Celebration of Life scheduled at a later date, to be determined when friends and family can safely gather.Bob attended St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Columbus.
