Rebecca Ann O'Diam's Obituary
Rebecca Ann O’Diam, age 89 of London, Ohio entered into God’s Kingdom, July 25, 2024. She was born on May 4, 1935 in Clayhole, Kentucky. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie (Greg) O’Brien. She was Nanny to her grandchildren, Joe, Kevin, TJ (Kassy), Amanda (Jerry), Erica, Jason and Rachel; 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Clarence O’Diam, sons; Kim and Timmy, sisters; Jean, Marie, Phyllis, and Wanda, brothers; Grover and Delanie; parents; Logan and Alla Gora Combs.
She was a long and devoted member of The Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Sar-I Court #79, Sarasota, Florida. She danced with the ladies and traveled and had a wonderful time doing it! She also belonged to an Orchid club and had an Orchid greenhouse in Englewood, Florida. She loved nature! She raised honey bees and canned the honey to sell. She loved traveling, gardening but, most of all, her family and friends which brought her back to Ohio in 2005. Her passing will leave a gap in the hearts of her loved ones and will be missed dearly (until we see her again)!
We will have a Celebration of Life on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Christian Life Center 3489 Little York Rd. Dayton, Ohio 5-8PM.
