Patrick "Terry" Tarlton's Obituary
Terry Tarlton, legally known as Patrick Shawn Tarlton, went home to be with His Lord on May 13th, 2024. He was the son of the late Earnest Robert Tarlton and Irma Gertrude Sword Tarlton. He was preceded in death by his sister Cora Hazel Sarkozy and grandson Aiden Tarlton. Surviving are his wife Sherry Tarlton and their two sons Terrence “Shawn” Tarlton and Barry Patrick Tarlton; six siblings, Irma Lucille Conley, Raymond Alfred Tarlton, Robert Ernest Tarlton, Rachel Ann Tarlton, Susan Melinda McDowell, and Peter Evan Tarlton, and 7 grandchildren. Before marrying the love of his life, Terry was a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and a veteran of the Vietnam war. After his military service, Terry was married to his wife Sherry in June of 1968. After which, Terry served his community and friends as an insurance agent for over 30 years. Terry loved to fish and hunt and spend time with family and friends. He also passionately served his church families as a deacon for many years. Terry was a proud husband, father, grandfather, and marine. Most of all, Terry was a dedicated follower of His Lord Jesus Christ and a steadfast witness of His love to all that knew him. Services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 11am at First Baptist Church Grove City located at 3301 Orders Rd, Grove City, Ohio. Visitation will be at the church from 10am until the time of the service.
