After retiring, Patricia returned to Ohio and lived in a deaf community in Westerville, Ohio, where she spent the remainder of her life.
Patricia was preceded in death by her sisters, Beatrice Brandon Lash and Louise Van Fossen Lash, and by her oldest son, James Herbert Albright. She is survived by her daughters, Janet Michel and Faith Bodi (Michel); her son, David Michel; along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
