Pamela Jean Richardson's Obituary
Pamela Jean Richardson stepped beyond the veil of life and into Heaven on Saturday
December 10, 2022 after a very brief battle with cancer. Born Pamela Jean Drennen on October 5, 1951 she lived her life caring for others and spreading kindness. Pamela was kind, feisty, determined, resilient, and never met a stranger. Pamela would often buy a child a toy or give them a dollar at the store just anything to make someone’s day brighter.
On August 1,1970 she married the love of her life, Ronald Richardson, and would remain by his side
as a wife, best friend and much more for 52 years. She had five children throughout their marriage Ronda Rose (Jason Wesley) of Ashley, OH, Michelle Richardson of Sunbury OH, Rachel Richardson, Jeremiah Richardson of Sunbury OH and Tammy Richardson. Pamela is preceded in death by two of her daughters, Tammy and Rachel Richardson. Her father Lester Drennen, mother Marian Drennen, sisters Mary and Elizabeth and her brother Lester Jr.
Survived by several nieces, nephews, sister Jackie and brother Paul
Pamela loved her family fiercely and unconditionally, often going the extra mile to make sure
they were cared for and safe. As a wife she was loving, patient and strong. As a loving devoted
mother she taught her children Strength, Perseverance, Courage, Integrity, Compassion,
Resilience but most of all LOVE. She will remain an example to all who were blessed enough to
meet and love her.
Pamela was the grandmother of 6 grandchildren all of whom she was so very proud and loved
to spend time with. Pamela would often have them playing in the yard at her house or would be
attending any number of activities with/for them. Meghan Thurston (Eddie) of Delaware OH,

Pamela was also a great grandmother. She loved her great grandchildren and looked forward to
calls from Bowen Durfey, Everly Durfey and getting to visit them. She found great joy in their
presence. She was excited about her next great grandson Baby Boy Rose (due February 2023)
Pamela raised Yorkshire Terriers and had several throughout the years that she would take with
her on adventures. She also enjoyed her chickens, guineas and cats. Pamela liked gardening,
canning, reading, art, thrift store shopping and watching CNN.
A celebration of Pamela’s life will be announced in the spring. In lieu of flowers and or cards the
family asks that you make a donation in Pamela's name to Homeless to Home Animal Rescue
