Pamela Ann Henke's Obituary
Pamela Henke, 65, passed away peacefully on August 1st, 2023 at Riverside Hospital due to multiple health issues over the last several years. Pam was born to Walter and Peggy (Hansen) Henke (both deceased) in New York on June 24, 1958 and transplanted to Houston, Texas in her formative years and then onto Columbus, Ohio. Pam held various positions with Lenscrafters, White House Black Market, Huffman’s and Swan Cleaners over the years to name a few. She was a passionate reader and lover of all animals, especially her Himalayan cat Mr. Mister, as well as capybaras, koalas and red pandas. She is survived by her partner of 24 years Jack Kennedy, and family - Wendy Kennedy, Karie Kennedy (Andrew Landgraf), Emily Schmitz (David), grandchildren Zoe Strausbaugh, Owen and Claire Landgraf, and Liam Schmitz, Peg and Fred Fochtman and Jim Kennedy. She is also survived by her brothers Jeff Henke (Laura Miller), Eric Henke and their families. Also, lifelong friends in Houston Sugar Sigler and Monica Hausmann. Many thanks to the staff on the 5th ICU, 6 Blue and 8 Silver at Riverside Hospital for their compassionate care for Pam during her final days.
