Mina Jean Hicks' Obituary
Mina Jean Hicks, age 89, of Columbus, passed away on February 7, 2018 at Heartland of Uptown Westerville. She graduated from nursing school at White Cross Hospital. She worked as a nurse for many years retiring from Doctors Hospital North in 1968. She loved to bowl and was formerly active with the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a deeply religious woman and regular supporter of several Ministries. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hicks; parents, Edward and Margaret Wilkins; many other relatives. She is survived by her daughter, Doris (Ray) Baker Moodispaugh her daughter, Tonya Baker, and grandchildren, Jessica and Dalas; daughter, Deloris Hunter, her sons, Frank and Tim Hunter, and grandchildren, Heather and Chase; and daughter, Erma (Bud) Hall, her daughters, Holly and Kelly Hall, and grandchildren, Cameron and Reese; niece, Bea Higginbothem; nephew, John Travis; many other relatives and friends. Special thanks to granddaughter, Odell Matchack, for all of her love, help, and assistance. All services are to be private.
