Mildred "Elsie" Lemasters' Obituary
Mildred “Elsie” Lemasters went peacefully to Jesus August 23, 2023, at her son and daughter-in-laws’ home in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Elsie was born June 5, 1936, in Detroit, MI. Elsie earned her BSc from Wheeling Jesuit University. Elsie worked and retired from Bayer Corporation while raising her children in New Martinsville, WV.
Elsie was a member of the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Elsie was preceded in death by her Father & Mother: Sam & Mildred Clapham, daughter: Mary Warner, brother: Sam, sister: Karen.
Elsie is survived by daughter & son-in-law: Trudy & Paul Burke of New Martinsville, WV, daughter: Gale Hall of Barlow, Ohio, daughter & son-in-law: Ruth & Tony Massey of Abingdon, VA., son and daughter-in-law: Kevin & Kymberly Lemasters of Canal Winchester, Ohio, brothers: Mark & Linda Clapham, and Ed Clapham.
Elsie has 14 beloved grandchildren, 26 beloved great grandchildren, and 6 beloved great-great grandchildren. Elsie’s children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren will hold their ever-lasting love in their hearts.
John 16:22 “Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.”
Elsie will return home to West Virginia, her final resting place, and will be remembered with a family ceremony held graveside in New Martinsville, WV.
