Marsha Kay Ewing's Obituary
Marsha Kay Ewing, 74, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was a devoted mom to her son Justin (Kara) Ewing and her daughter Jenifer (Dan) Marchio, and nothing brought her more joy than being Grandma to her precious grandchildren—Colt, Vincent, and Julia. She loved cheering them on, spoiling them, and celebrating every moment she could with them.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Steve Strizak. She was the oldest of five and is survived by her loving siblings Janet Young, Janice Palika, Steve Strizak, Brenda Hogan, and Brian Strizak, as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
After many years working as a secretary in a mental health agency, Marsha retired having touched countless lives with her grace, compassion, and ability to make anyone feel cared for.
Her home was a place of open doors and open arms—a warm, welcoming spot where family, friends, and neighbors felt instantly at ease. She loved spending time with the people she cherished, going on cruises, sharing good meals, laughing together, and simply being present.
She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held close by all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
