Maria Robles Brennan's Obituary
Maria Robles Brennan passed away after a 5 month battle with GBM. She went peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the age of 77.
Maria del Roble Jauregui was born on December 18, 1946, in Monterrey, Mexico to her parents, the late Domingo and Maria Jauregui. Her fondness for cooking was unmatched, and she loved to shop for grocery items to prepare her delicious recipes. Her culinary skills were diverse, and she could whip up scrumptious meals from all over the world, including Spanish, Greek, Italian, and Polish cuisine. However, her favorite tradition was when the family gathered to make tamales every year. She always enjoyed cooking and feeding her family and friends, and it brought her immense joy and fulfillment.
Apart from cooking, Maria loved music and dancing, and she enjoyed watching live bands or listening to music by a fire at night. Her music taste was that of the classics of her time, and she enjoyed listening to Bob Segar, Frank Sanatra, Neil Diamond, and the upbeat rhythms of The Gypsy Kings. Dancing to the rhythm of these iconic artists was her way of unwinding after a long day.
In addition to her parents, Maria is preceded in death by her brother, Arturo Jauregui.
Maria is survived by her children, John Brennan, Brian Brennan and Amanda DeHaai; her grandchildren, Patrick, Kate, Emily, Mathew, Logan and Sam Brennan; as well as Brennan and Kiara DeHaai; her siblings, Genaro Jauregui and Connie Lopez.
Information for a Celebration of Life will follow at a later time.
Cremation services were entrusted to Buckeye Cremation Services by Schoedinger.
