Dr. Lois Marie (Boehmer) Graff's Obituary
Dr. Lois Marie Boehmer Graff, age 99 (02.25.1926), of Cleveland and Parma Heights, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 11th 2025 in Columbus, Ohio. Lois was the loving wife of Richard A. Graff (deceased), mother of Rick Graff, Sunny Graff and Doug Graff, Grandmother of Jenna Stevens Perry, Jessika Graff, Joel Graff and Erik Graff, Great Grandmother of Josephine and Julianne Perry, and Colette and Evie Clark Graff, sister of Kay Kami (deceased) and Bill Boehmer (deceased) and dear friend of Marla Linsker. Dr. Graff got her PhD in Accounting at Massie University in Palmerston North, New Zealand, was a professor at Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina for many years and at Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. Lois was Treasurer of the Parma City Schools and served on the Parma School Board in the 1970s. Lois and Richard were members of the Parma South Presbyterian Church for over 50 years, the Silver Sneakers Exercise Group in Lakewood and were avid square dancers and golfers. Lois was an amateur genealogist who wrote a book about her German ancestors and reconnected with the Swedish side of the family for the first time in decades.
