Linda Kay Tindall's Obituary
Linda Kay Tindall, 76, of Lakewood, Ohio passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025 in Columbus, Ohio.
Born on February 14, 1949 in Jackson, Michigan, Linda was the cherished daughter of Phyllis Donovan and Lloyd Omo and adoptive father Raymond Donovan.
She is survived by her former spouse, Gerald Tindall, and their beloved daughters, Catherine (Mark) Shaw and Sarah (Ken) Kyle; cherished grandchildren Ethan, Lauren, David, Carter, Danielle and Jackson. She also leaves behind her sisters Rae (Rob) Huss, Mary (Peter) Rynski, Sharon Donovan and niece Colleen.
She is preceded in death by her mother Phyllis Donovan, father Raymond Donovan, her birth father Lloyd Omo and her niece Erin Kelley.
Linda was an artist, an amazing cook, a gardener, a free spirt who loved all animals and birds and had a deep appreciation for nature and the simple things in life. She had a dry sense of humor and a quick wit that kept those around her smiling. She was a social person who enjoyed making connections with people from her neighbors to random people at the grocery store. She noticed people. She had a strong faith that she relied on throughout her life. Linda’s greatest joys in her life were her two daughters whom she loved beyond measure and her grandchildren of whom she was immensely proud. Linda loved her life. Even in her last days, she never wanted to leave it or her family. Linda always told her daughters, “The joy is in the doing. The gift of life is to enjoy the journey. Life is an adventure.” She will be greatly missed.
The family will be holding a private celebration of life.
