Lillie Virginia McKlveen's Obituary
Lillie Virginia McKlveen, age 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2017. She was born in Hope, Arkansas on October 9, 1931 to Ted and Alice (Adams) Camp. She retired from Mutual of Omaha in 1989 after serving as an office manager for 22 years. Lillie was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Lorain, OH where she enjoyed singing in the choir until moving to Knoxville, TN upon retirement. Lillie’s joy in life was entertaining her children and grandchildren at her lakefront home in Tennessee. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed playing games, reading and crocheting. Lillie was preceded in death by Ted and Alice Camp; her beloved husband of 60 years, Oliver Richard McKlveen; her brother Donald R. Camp and sister Loma J Billings. She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth (Daniel) Betzel, Cheryl (Eric) McFarland and Marcie (Jim) DiFranco; seven grandchildren, Julie (Jon) Detwiler, David DiFranco, Courtney (Tyler) Trakas, Daniel (Rebecca) McFarland, Stephen McFarland, Anna Betzel, Kye Betzel; and her great-granddaughter Claire Detwiler. A Memorial and Celebration of Life Service will be held on May 6, 2017 at 11 am at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3700 Center Road, Avon, OH.
