Kevin A Miller was born 7/31/1956 in Flint, MI and passed away 8/8/2021 in Columbus, OH at the age of 65.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Miller, mother Majorie Miller, sister Sharon Kingsland, sister Laurel Miller, daughter Melissa Nicole Miller, and grandson Cole Phillip Wasierski.
He was survived by wife Dessel Miller; children Brandon (Beth) Miller, Lisa (Lewis Wright) Miller, Devon (Bernahin) Berganza; grandchildren Samantha, Grace, Madison, Allison, Kai, Libby, William, Felicia and Gina; mother in law Marilyn McGonigal; siblings Robert Miller, Ron (Patty) Miller, Kenneth Kingsland, James McGonigal, Laura McGonigal and Ronald McGonigal; and many treasured nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kevin was born in Flint, MI. He was the fourth child of Bob and Marge Miller. He attended Flint Northern High School where in 1974 he met Dessel in the marching band. They married in 1976 and started their family.
Kevin’s love and passion of music carried throughout his whole life. In school he was in the band, theater and sang opera. He marched in drum corps and taught percussion. He co-owned music stores.
His passion inspired other musicians and thespians within his family to which he offered an endless supply of support and nurturing. He loved to sing whether in a stage or just sitting around with his family playing his guitar.
Kevin’s presence brought laughter and joy. He was always quick with a joke just to bring a smile.
In addition to, his love of music he was also known for his generosity, kindness and big heart. Regardless of circumstances if you needed something Kevin was there. He gave without hesitation and loved with his whole heart. Anyone who had ever met him has the humbling experience of knowing that. His friends weren’t just friends to him they were family.
His love was immeasurable and unfailing. His shoulder was one that never grew tired. His passing will be felt in every moment of every day.
