Kakea Earley's Obituary
Kakea Lashaun Earley was born in Cambridge, Ohio on September 8th, 1983. She passed away Monday December 6, 2021, at the age of 38. She graduated from Newark High School in Newark, Ohio in 2001. After graduating high school, Kakea attended Bradford College in Columbus, Ohio where she obtained her associates degree to soon become a paralegal. Early on in her childhood life, Kakea excelled in the sport of gymnastics in Cambridge, Ohio where she found an unconditional love for the sport. After encountering early on success and winning many medals and trophies, young Kakea found her true calling, passion and inspiration in life, which was to become a gymnastics coach. She started her early coaching career at the age of 14 at the YMCA in Newark, Ohio. After graduating high school Kakea moved to Columbus, Ohio to pursue her associates degree at Bradford College. During her years attending Bradford College and time thereafter, Kakea continued to coach gymnastics and spent several years at Buckeye Gymnastics coaching kids and adults as well. Kakea was extremely athletically gifted and a one of a kind. Not only did she coach gymnastics, but she also broadened her talents by becoming a personal trainer, Title Boxing coach, kickboxing coach, physique fitness model and a nutritionist as well.After finishing college and working her day job as a paralegal, Kakea’s dreams changed. Her self-driven ambition led her to her lifelong dream, which was to own her own gymnastics business where she started FYT fitness. Kakea single handedly grew the business and her clientele off of pure will. She was supported with love from Family, Title boxing members, FYT members, kids, coaches, parents, high schools and like-minded individuals. Kakea Earley’s will to win was contagious and she will heavily be missed and loved.Kakea is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Sylvania Wolverton, grandfather, Richard Ford of Cambridge, and step-father, Vincent Wayne Martin. She is survived by her mother, Irene Martin; her grandmother, Florence Bell; her siblings, Shenchez (Heather) Martin, Josiah Washington, Shannon Bell, Caleb Bell, Brandie (Aaron) Thomas, Marcus Bell, and Destiny Miller; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
