Juanita Thomas' Obituary
Sister Juanita Thomas was the 5th child out of 11 children born to Paul Gray and Sister Georgia Ann Gray in Chester County Phila, Pa. On September 21, 1953, Juanita was introduced to Jehovah as a child but did not make the truth her own until July 1976 at the convention of Jehovah’s witnesses at the veteran’s stadium shortly after marrying. Her greatest love was knowing Jehovah's qualities, which she displayed with endurance even though life threw harrowing challenges to distract her. Her 6 children and those close to her will always fondly remember her for love of the good ole down home southern style of cooking that she was taught as a child.
She leaves behind her siblings Gloria Wright, Doyle Sr., James, Sister Pauline Linton, Sister Mary Ann Jones (Clarence), Roosevelt (Kim), Emma. 3 of her siblings preceded her in death. Pauly boy (Judy), Paul (Phyllis), David (Patricia). Juanita also leaves behind her loving children, Christine, Tyree’ (Regina), Sabrina, Alik (Pamela), Virginia, David, and step-Children, Tawana, Kaliek, Juantia, and Michael Jr.; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
"But all is not lost (as she would say) because we have hope for the resurrection!" John 5:28, 29
The family would like to thank Capital City Hospice team and the many heartfelt prayers that went out on behalf of us.
