Jeffry Mark Vistain's Obituary
Jeffry Mark Vistain, 66, of Columbus, passed away suddenly at The James Cancer Hospital on May 14, 2017, surrounded by loved ones. Jeff attended the University of Alaska and graduated from Michigan Tech with a degree in engineering. He spent most of his career as a custom home builder in central Ohio. He was a loving husband to his wife with whom he shared his love of travel and adventure. Jeff enjoyed cycling with the Biker Boys logging miles in many states. Jeff always put others first. He was willing to help stranger and friend alike. He was an active volunteer and fundraiser. He is easy to picture smiling and laughing, whether riding his tractor with his grandkids or playing with his dogs. Jeff is survived by his wife Marian Webb; stepsons Brian (Megan) and Sean Clement; grandchildren Ewan, Finn, Duncan, and Maisie; sister Karen Tosi; and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Sunday, May 21, 2017 at North Broadway United Methodist Church, 48 E. North Broadway, Columbus; a reception will follow at the church at the conclusion of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Myeloma Crowd or Pelotonia.
