Jeanne Patricia Keith's Obituary
In loving memory of Jeanne Patricia Keith of Columbus, Ohio, who passed away too soon August 28th, 2025 at the age of 65. She and her family moved from New Jersey and settled in Medina, Ohio, where she went to St. Francis Xavier Catholic School, Medina High School '78, and went on to Bowling Green State University, graduating with a degree in Education. After graduation, she spent years as a Speech Pathologist, before getting into the banking industry, where she stayed for 30 years, mostly in Cyber Security. She always enjoyed sailing, reading, traveling, camping, gardening, hiking, shopping- mostly for jewelry, and the waves upon the shore.
Jeanne is survived by her sister Mary (Neil), brother Terry, nieces Bridget (Paola) and Brittany, nephews Bobby and Michael, dear partner Paul, her extended family on the east coast, and all those who were just like family to her. She also leaves behind Suki, Flopsi, and Aussie, her 3 cats who are missing her. She was preceded in death by her parents Terence and Mary Keith.
She will be remembered for her generous heart, ready laugh, loyalty, how she always made time for others, her quiet strength, wisdom, and love of all animals (except insects), especially the long line of cats she adopted through the years that were forever grateful. Please remember her for the positive impact she had on those who met her, those who worked with her, and those who loved her. May we all find comfort in the memories and joy that we shared. And she would want us to remember that life can be more fragile than we know, so live it to the fullest. Mark Twain said, "Let us so live that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry.", and this could be said for Jeanne.
At her request, no service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Paws Animal Shelter of Urbana, Ohio.
