Jason Matthew Kimbler's Obituary
Jason Matthew Kimbler, 35, died September 2, 2021 at his home in Riverside, OH.
Jason was born July 7, 1986 in Toledo, OH. He is the son of John & Doreen Kimbler.
He attended Central Crossing High School in Grove City, OH. After graduation he courageously served in the United States Marine Corp. He served out of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point from 2005-2009. He served 3 tours in Iraq. While in the Marines he earned 2 Sea Service Deployment Ribbons, an Iraq Campaign Medal, a Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, a National Defense Service Medal, a Navy Unit Commendation, 2 Rifle Expert Badges, a Pistol Sharpshooter Badge and a Good Conduct Medal.
After being honorably discharged, Jason worked in a variety of fields including construction and as a mechanic. Most recently, Jason had started his own business and was working as a handyman.
Jason enjoyed watching football, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes. He could often be found wearing an OSU jersey during football season. He loved spending time with his daughter, Abigail. He also liked spending time with his two cats and playing video games.
Jason was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend. Anyone who met him, knew his big smile and happy-go-lucky nature. His main goal was to make people laugh and did so every day. He had a quick wit and a goofy nature.
He is survived by his daughter, Abigail Kimbler; parents, John & Doreen Kimbler; sister and brother in-law, Jennifer & Josh Dean; nieces and nephews, Jovie, Lennon and Hawken Dean, grandmother, Mahala Kimbler and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his brother and sisters of the United States Marine Corp.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elwood Kimbler and Albany Jaques.
There will be a Celebration of Life service. We would appreciate people wearing OSU apparel. We want to enjoy the things that Jason enjoyed. The service will be from 10-1pm on 9/25/2021.
