Allan was the most kind and generous man. Loving and positive. Intelligent and creative. The hardest worker. My energizer bunny. Loved his music and guitars. Always had tunes blasting in his big red barn.
Allan attended Dublin High School and graduated Whetstone High School in 1977. He was a self made man and ran a successful commercial remodeling business for over 20 years. His passion was wood and creating beautiful furniture out of the most unique pieces. A true master craftsman and perfectionist, he took great pleasure in his cabinetry and furniture making.
Allan and Beth lived through the loss of their first spouses, created a life, a home and passion like no other. His greatest sources of pride were their four children, whom he loved endlessly.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Amy and Paul Grandinetti’s, 7036 Maynard Place, New Albany, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 1-5pm. Family will share remembrances of Allan beginning at 2pm.
A Buckeye. A TBDBITL enthusiast. A Packer. He enjoyed driving his 1964 TR4 and being a Buckeye Triumph Club member. A friend to everyone. He will be sorely missed. Please, no flowers. Plant a tree. A living memorial to a man that loved Life. That loved trees. That cultivated acres of trees. With Beth by his side, he searched out history and vistas in the mountains and trees of old, and the connection to the past, present and future. In majestic trees. That is where he will be.
