James L. Ruisinger's Obituary
James L. Ruisinger, age 68, of Upper Arlington, passed away December 11, 2023. Preceded in death by parents, William (Bill) and Lenore Ruisinger. Jim was an alumnus of Upper Arlington High School, class of 1973 and The Ohio State University. In sales most of his adult life, Jim was a long-time store Manager for Hobbyland Stores and most recently the General Manager of Efficient Electric Corp. Jim was a model railroad enthusiast, a life member and past officer of Division 6 of the National Model Railroad Association’s Mid Central Region. Jim was also an avid barbershop singer. He was lead singer in the quartet, Quite By Accident and an active member of the Singing Buckeyes Chorus. Jim leaves behind a brother William (Bill) Ruisinger, Jr., of Columbus and a sister Catherine A. Mathers of Dallas Texas, a nephew, several nieces and great nieces, several cousins and many friends. Per Jim’s request there will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service and private interment will be at a later date. Friends may, if they wish, contribute to the Buckeye Harmony Camp Scholarship Fund or the Upper Arlington High School Athletic Department.
