She was born on August 15, 1933 in Shelby, Ohio to the late Charles and Cordelia Blosser. Glenna was a small, mighty, creative woman who loved life and experienced it to the fullest. Not only was she a mom who fiercely loved her children, but also a florist, interior designer and savvy businesswoman. Glenna graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography at a time when most women did not attend college. She loved gardening, interior and floral design and making all things beautiful. If there was an award for amazing Thanksgiving table settings, Glenna would take first place every year! Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday, so it was fitting she passed away just a few days after a joyful Thanksgiving with her family.
In her younger days, Glenna enjoyed tennis and skiing, but her ultimate passion was world travel. Egypt, England, Ireland, Spain, Sweden and France were among her destinations while also taking on the Amazon Rainforest and snowy trails of Wyoming by snow mobile. Her love for adventure was a trait which defined her.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Glenna at 11:00 am on January 10, 2026, followed by a light lunch. It will be held in the Fireside Room (lower level off the back entrance) of Westerville Christian Church, located at 471 E. College Ave, Westerville, OH 43081.
