My best wishes to Jennifer, Pete, George Jr. Tom, and the rest of the family. "PEP" was part of the first group of the "One of the Boys" group out of college. The McElroy Minister Gang. Oh, the fun we had! The occasional happy hour. The MM Christmas Party where I was known as the corporate "Rent - A - Date. I can't remember one of my dates. However, I can remember having a cocktail with Cliff, Tony, Greg, and PEP. And oh how we could make each other laugh! What fun we had! The Golf League. The golf banquets at Deercreek. PEP's boat. George taught me the joy of fishing. I caught my first white bass at Hoover while on George's boat. That's been at least 20 some years ago. To this day, whenever I am near any outdoors store and event, I can hear PEP say "Tone, there's only one fishing line out there...Trilene." And guess what, that's still the only line I buy. Every time I pass by a used boat for sale I think of PEP and the advice he gave me on buying one. I'm still waiting for the right one because of his council. And how can I forget one of my greatest wrestling victories by attending WrestleMania (3, 4, 5 or whichever one it was) at the House of Peponis dressed in a full length robe and mask while being titled as "The Masked Meatball"! PEP was the creator of "TSP". A nickname I still go by in certain circles. A chunk of me is gone. This loss runs deep. However, I will always have a smile on my face and give out a slight chuckle when I think of PEP.
