Elizabeth Ann Schlaegel's Obituary
Elizabeth Ann Schlaegel, 49, of Columbus, has passed on to our Heavenly Father on October 21st, 2022. Elizabeth was born February 3rd, 1973 to Gordon and Janice McKay.
Elizabeth is survived by her children Jacob, Ashley, and Coleton, and grandchildren Charlie and Jameson.
Elizabeth graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School and soon after married Kenneth Schlaegel. She went on to work as a pharmacy technician, and soon brought her first born Jacob to the world. She then switched to being a stay at home mother to raise her son, spending time taking her son to soccer games, sharing her favorite shows with him, and giving him all the love she had. In 2006, Elizabeth gave birth to her second born Ashley, and then her third born Coleton in 2008. She was constantly devoted to her kids, always looking to bringing them nothing but happiness and affection. Later in life, she became a committed employee of L Brands warehouse in Columbus, where she moved her way up in the company to a supervisor role.
Elizabeth loved to spend time with her family, wether that be her kids, her brothers, her parents, or her extended family from Kentucky. She was a passionate person who loved with everything she had. She carried an infectious laugh everywhere she went into every conversation she had, and could brighten up the room with her beautiful smile.
Elizabeth was a phenomenal woman who’s love has impacted so many people. Her passing has left a unfillable gap in the lives of those who loved her. She now rests peacefully with her mother and father in the kingdom of Heaven.
A memorial service will take place on November 4th, 2022 at 1pm in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43213, where her ashes will also be placed in the mausoleum with her mother and father.
