Eleanor Irene Edgar's Obituary
Eleanor Irene Edgar passed away on May 12, 2020. She was born on December 23, 1921 in Lawrence, Kansas to the late Frank and Ruth (Boyles) Patty. Eleanor earned her B.A. from the University of Kansas (Phi Beta Kappa). She was a devoted wife to her husband Richard, whom she married 73 years ago, in 1946. Eleanor was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. An extraordinarily kind, caring person, she was beloved by all who were blessed to know her. Eleanor was preceded in death by her son James Edgar. She is survived by her husband Richard Edgar; son John (Sue Wolfe) Edgar; grandsons Paul (Amy) Edgar and David Edgar; great-granddaughters Isabella Edgar and Madelynn Edgar.
