Debra "Debbie" Duvall McMillen's Obituary
Debra “Debbie” Duvall McMillen, age 66 of Powell, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2025. She was the epitome of unyielding love, strength, and kindness.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Todd McMillen; her children, Drew McMillen (Jessica) and Dayna Larsen (Matthew); and her cherished grandchildren, Deviney McMillen, Ayla McMillen, Micah Larsen, Brynlee Larsen, and Maelynn Larsen. She is also survived by her sisters, Jackie Evans, Patricia McClelland, and Rebecca Denbow, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Born in Columbus on October 28, 1958, to Jack and Janet Duvall, Debbie was the youngest of four sisters. She graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 1976 and married the love of her life, Todd, shortly thereafter. Settling into Worthington where they raised their son and daughter, Debbie became an integral part of the community – volunteering and attending events at the schools her children attended. Years later, Powell became their permanent home when she found their dream property. Debbie built a successful career as a valued real estate agent with RE/MAX Affiliates for many years. Her most cherished titles, however, were wife, mother, and above all, “Mimi.” Her legacy lives on in her grandchildren, who she adored with every fiber of her being.
Debbie was many things–a chocolate connoisseur, a creative writer, and a kitchen tap dancer–embracing life with an eternal playful attitude and an infectious smile. She loved traveling, boating, gardening, driving with the radio a little too loud while singing to The Beatles, and most importantly her friends and family. She found joy in life's simplicities – the sun on her face and the wind in her hair. She loved deeply, celebrated the little moments, and found joy in bringing people together. Her memory will forever live on in their hearts.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration in honor of Debbie on March 14, 2025, at Worthington Christian Church. 8145 N High St, Columbus, OH 43235. A reception will take place from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a service starting promptly at 7:00 PM.
