I first met Cindy through my friend/partner, who has also passed away, at WOW, and as I got to know her, she became a friend on her own merit. She was unfailingly generous and kind, a champion for people and animals. There were no barriers; she did not see color or disability. All walks of people were loved for who they were. I miss her. I was going to call her because I had not seen or talked to her in awhile, but I found out that she had passed away. I will always remember her because she will live in my heart.

I will miss her always. I was a bit shocked to find out that she had passed away although I knew that she had shared that she had cancer, I believed that it was in remission at least for awhile. I was in AA at Wow when I first met Cindy. I was fairly new in AA, and I went to a Friday night meeting, and then the WOW Saturday morning meeting. She was an amazing woman, and she shared a lot of her wisdom with us in AA meetings. I love you, Cindy, and I will never forget you.

I met her at Wow. She was an amazing woman, full of love and kindness and a beautiful soul in this world. I can hardly believe that she is gone. I know that she is with Baby Girl and her kitties that have gone before. I know she is in heaven Jesus and her pets. I love you, Cindy. I wish I had stayed in touch more; I will think of you often. Oh, RuthieEllen, Kathy, and Penny I know are happy to see you again.

I met Cindy at Drummers in 1987 and she introduced me to WOW. She was on in a million and helped me trudge the road of happy destiny. She did indeed dispense wisdom along with a lot of humor. There is a bright star in the heavens shining down on us. I know she and Baby Girl are running free and happy. You are loved my friend.

Cindy, Cindy, Cindy, my dear Cindy. I remember the clothes you were wearing, the first time we met. We were both brand new to sobriety and we were at a Gay hospital meeting. It meant everything to hang for awhile.
Much later, to emerge from my tent at the Michigan Women's Music Festival, to find you were camped 500 ft away. Oh My. Watching you be part of the Ohio group was wonderful and you looked so comfortable. I was so very happy for you. That is where you belonged.
Now Pam tells me you passed. As you move on, I want you to know that I am still sending warm thoughts with complete respect for you. We made it from AA newbies to old-timers, in this lifetime. Love ya.

Wow, when I was informed by my cousin Chris Zeck I was shocked. So sad to hear this news. It hit me hard. Cindy spent a lot of time at my now estate in Midpines, Ca (next to Yosemite), my mom passed in 2005 Cindy and her were pretty close. The last time I saw Cindy was circa 1978. Cindy was always down to earth kinda quirky LOL. Well the planet has lost another good soul. I'll attached a couple photo's I have. I met Cindy in 1982. She was and continued to be friendly and welcoming to me and everyone. She was kind, creative, friendly & fun. I'm saddened by her passing yet know she is & will always be with us. Blessed Be Cindy!
