Clyde Manning III's Obituary
Clyde Manning III, 31, Mt. Sterling, Ohio. Clyde passed away unexpectedly due to health complications on August 27th, 2023. Clyde was born on June 23rd, 1992 to Lucinda and Clyde Manning Jr. in Columbus, Ohio. From his first diagnoses of leukemia at three months old, to his heart stints at thirty, Clyde has proven to be a fighter. Clyde beat leukemia twice in his first four years of life. He more than tripled his life expectancy while managing type 1 diabetes, partial blindness and many other chemo/radiation side effects. To say he was a modern medical miracle was an understatement. Clyde loved his family and friends fiercely. He had a huge heart for anyone but especially for anyone in need. He was up for any adventure possible but specifically enjoyed fishing off a creek bank. Clyde is preceded in death by both of his parents; paternal grandparents, Etta & Clyde Manning Sr., and his maternal grandfather, J. R. Massie. He is survived by two big sisters, Michele (Tom) Darst and Heather (Chris) Cook; his pride and joy, niece and nephews, Ellie, Danny, and Jensen; and his beloved grandmother, Neoma Massie. The family will hold a celebration of life gathering on Thursday, August 31st, 2023 between 4:30pm – 7:30pm at the Five Points Township Building , 12452 OH-316, Mt Sterling, OH 43143. We love you, Clyde! A gofundme account will be set up in his honor to help the family cover expenses.
